Description
This Monofloral Kamahi honey has been collected by our bees from the Native Kamahi trees (Weinmannia racemosa) in the Central North Island prior to the Manuka honey flowering. It is a light-coloured aromatic honey with a buttery aftertaste that carries our signature smooth creamed texture.
It is a sweet honey that pairs exceptionally well on crackers with Blue cheese or white mold cheeses such as Camembert and Brie.
Kamahi like Manuka is also bursting with goodness having very high levels of minerals and nutrients. The thing it is missing is the same level of research.
Enjoy it as a natural sweetener in hot drinks, baking or on your cheeseboard. Delicious!
