Manuka honey is known globally for its unique properties. This is a multifloral Manuka because there was Kamahi flowering at the same time. This gives a slightly sweeter taste and chewier texture than monofloral Manuka.

This Monofloral Manuka honey has been collected by our bees from the Native manuka trees from the rugged landscapes of the Ruapehu area in the central North Island.
Manuka honey is known globally for its unique properties and the higher the MGO the more potent the antibacterial properties.  Manuka honey with an MGO of 263+ or above is considered the minimum strength for medicinal use.
 
It has our signature smooth creamed texture that locks in the flavour and eating pleasure and provides a sweet honey with a slightly tangy or bitter taste.
