This Monofloral Kamahi honey has been collected by our bees from the Native Kamahi trees (Weinmannia racemosa) in the Central North Island prior to the Manuka honey flowering. It is a light-coloured aromatic honey with a buttery aftertaste that carries our signature smooth creamed texture.

It is a sweet honey that pairs exceptionally well on crackers with Blue cheese or white mold cheeses such as Camembert and Brie.

This Monofloral Manuka honey has been collected by our bees from the Native manuka trees from the rugged landscapes of the Ruapehu area in the central North Island.

Manuka honey is known globally for its unique properties and the higher the MGO the more potent the antibacterial properties. Manuka honey with an MGO of 263+ or above is considered the minimum strength for medicinal use.

It has our signature smooth creamed texture that locks in the flavour and eating pleasure and provides a sweet honey with a slightly tangy or bitter taste.

This Monofloral manuka honey has been collected by our bees from the Native manuka trees from the rugged landscapes of the Ruapehu area in the central North Island.

MGO is short for Methylglyoxal and is the naturally occurring compound that makes mānuka honey so unique. The higher the rating the more antibacterial properties.

The MGO rating on the jar of manuka honey means there are 514 milligrams of Methylglyoxal per kilogram of honey as tested by a certified independent laboratory.
